This month our community music group in South Liverpool - Mersey Wave Music - celebrates it's 5th birthday!
5 years since a few members of the local community gathered in the Welly Pub in Hale Village to start singing together!
5 years since we formed a choir, gave a grand piano a home in my local parish church and we put on our first Summer concert there at St Ambrose, Speke Liverpool!
Choir members, young singers, volunteers, families, friends and audiences have been involved in live music events across Merseyside, they've worked their socks getting together each week to practise and raised thousands for local charities ..and been featured on the telly!
The best part has been and always will be making music together and making great friends. Here's to many more years! Happy birthday:)
